Jillian Hernnessy (born 25th November in 1968) is a Canadian actress, singer that made waves on American television. She has been praised for her outstanding performance on the American television show Law & Order in which she played Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons. She also appeared on Crossing Jordan, wherein she was Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy showed her talent in films that were independent, like Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy began her career in the year 1988 with her sister as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In the year 1990, she was in a short stint on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved into sci-fi and played Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The following year, she was promoted to assistant prosecutor Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order.
