Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman of business. she is the current president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California was raised with an affluent family background. Her father Jerry Buss was a real-estate businessman who became proprietor of the Lakers and other sports businesses. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened after her parents split in 1972. At 19 years old, she began working for the family business as the director of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then she founded an organization called the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She first served as vice-president for the Lakers before taking on the role of President of Great Western Forum. Buss, her five brothers and sisters and their father who owned the Lakers and ruled them until the time of his death in 2013, took over this ownership by way of a trust. The five siblings had equal the right to vote. She assumed the office as President for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss owns a co-owned business Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotional business based out of Los Angeles.
